Land Drill Geotechnics are an independently owned company formed in 2004. Land Drill Geotechnics have a wide range of experience covering all aspects of Geotechnic/Geoenviroment and Geothermal services including all types of site investigations encompassing in-situ testing, Geological and Geophysical surveys and installation of borehole standpipes.
The company have been involved in drilling for a large housing development in Tranent, East Lothian, this will provide a heating system for up to 60 homes. Each individual property has two ground loops installed providing continuous heating or cooling as required.
For smaller developments, Land Drill Geotechnics also offer a service which includes individual house plots for Geothermal systems and water wells.
Land Drill Geotechnics Ltd. have also completed boring and rotary drilling for the Whitelees wind farm site which provides 322mw of electricity from its 140 turbines.
The companies aim is to deliver a complete Geothermal package and professional service irrespective of whether the customer is a one man operation or a multi-national corporation.
Locations
Land Drill Geotechnics carry out projects across the UK and if required can do work further afield. Past projects have included a development for the BBC in the Ascension Islands.
