The Lemon Juice Detox
Lemons have long been used in detox systems, and the lemon juice detox, as you might have guessed, also uses lemons. This detox system is different to the lemon detox diet as here we use just hot water and the juice of a lemon.
There is no specific recipe for the lemon juice detoxification process, unlike the lemon detox diet and most people tend to adopt trial and error. One cup of hot water, the juice of a lemon and one or two teaspoons of sugar should be adequate (add more sugar to suite your taste).
The lemon juice should be mixed with the hot water for full effect, and preferably drank once in the morning before your day starts, then you should drink plenty of water throughout the day.
Lemon juice aids your liver in flushing out unwanted toxins which may be in the process of absorbing into your body. The lemon juice detox process should be a daily, recurring event for you, preferably on a continuous basis.
The great thing about the lemon juice detoxification is the ease. There are only three ingredients to it, and it can be made very quickly in the morning, as a substitute for your morning tea or coffee. If you are worried that substituting your morning coffee will leave you with no energy for the day, take a look at the many different high energy foods which you could incorporate into your daily diet.
Many people have found that through regular use of the lemon juice, hot water and sugar concoction in a morning, they are able to lose weight much more easily.
A lemon detox diet may be too extreme for most people, and so the lemon juice alternative is a great place to start, and also a great alternative. Some of the ingredients in the lemon detox diet may be hard to come by, which also makes the lemon juice detoxification a great alternative due to the simplified ingredients.
